At Pope's Honey, we truly believe in providing great products from our family to yours. For 35 years we have been serving residents and visitors in Port Lincoln with our amazing, apiary-inspired goods, from honey biscuits to candles. Even after all this time, Norm and Val Pope remain determined and dedicated to their goals of caring for bees and making amazing honey. Come visit us and see for yourself why our farm is a local favourite!
Cherished History
Our family farming enterprise dates back to 1979, when Norm began keeping bees. What started as a childhood interest soon blossomed into a passion and ultimately a career, as Norm left his job as an electrical contractor in 1985 to pursue his goal of being a commercial apiarist. The family's path to becoming leaders in honey making continued from there, and now there's no denying Pope's Honey is a firm local favourite. We love introducing new visitors to the way we do things on our farm. We have won numerous regional awards.
Passionate Experts
One of the things that makes Pope's Honey so great is our clear commitment to beekeeping and making honey of the highest quality. Our operations meet national food standards and we make safety and health our top priorities. Norm learned from the best in the business, gaining invaluable knowledge from Cyril Lear, Clive Stephens and others. His love for his craft is clear, as is his understanding of the gorgeous local flora and fauna in the lower Eyre Peninsula.
